Afonso Lamounier is Vice President Government Relations at SAP Latin America & Caribbean, based in Sao Paulo/Brazil. Afonso has over 17 years of experience in developing business opportunities with governments.
Prior to joining SAP, Afonso worked at Microsoft for over 12 years, building the company’s Public Sector business in Brazil and in Latin America. Before that, he worked at Promon Group and A.T.Kearney Management Consulting, also leading programs related to public sector in the areas of healthcare, infrastructure, and ITC. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
