The second edition of the Workshop on Cloud Networks (WCN) aims at interacting with the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) for the creation of a SIG (Special Interest Group) in Cloud Computing, formed by Brazilian academic experts for structuring the evolution of the area within the research community in Brazil for the upcoming years. This SIG can be responsible for organising future technical themed workshops to strengthen the collaboration between academia and industry.
This workshop will present unpublished position papers by Brazilian and European stakeholders related to the latest challenges, technologies, solutions and techniques related to networking within the cloud and to the efficient and effective cloud deployment and hosting of the various emerging applications and services.
